Gap Broken-In Straight Khaki vs J.Crew Cafe Capris

Is there a difference between a $35 pair of pants and a $90 pair?  Do you get what you pay for?  I'm not sure.

Case in point.... I bought these Gap Broken-In Khakis (online for 30% off promo) and J.Crew Cafe Capris for comparison.  I have to say, I'm not convinced the J.Crew pants are worth the steep price tag.  I will say that the Gap capris are more casual (hence the "broken-in" name) and the J.Crew ones are more tailored and fitted.  I ordered a size 6 for the Gap pants and a 4 for the J.Crew.  I am never a size 4, so beware of J. Crew's vanity sizing.
