Short Hair Wanty

I love short hair.  I used to chop off all my hair every year and repeatedly go through the painful process of growing it back out.  I did it so much, I actually once got a gag award in high school for "Girl With The Most Hair Styles."

In the past decade or so, I have gone the other direction and have had different versions of the same hair style (long layers).  Recently, I have become really bored of my hair, especially since I wear it in a pony tail or bun every single day.  I feel so weighed down by all my drab hair.  The idea of cutting it off seems so liberating.

The problem with very short hair is that it is high maintenance, and you have to trim it constantly.  Plus I feel like pixie cuts look best on women with very dainty, defined, pretty faces.  Despite my love for short hair, I don't think it is the most flattering look for me.  The shortest I have ever dared to attempt is a jaw length bob.

Here are some celebrity pixie cuts I wish I had the guts to try on myself...

Anne Hathaway.  The big doe eyes helps to make this cut work on her.
