OOTD: Party In The Back

This is what I wore Christmas Eve to family dinner at my dad's place as well as to our second dinner party with the Hub's family. 

This dress is a hand me down from my Lil Sis.  She thought it was too short for her so she gave it to me (new with the tags still!).  I have to admit, it is probably a wee bit short on me as well.  I added a slip extender for some color and length (check out my previous post on slip extenders).

The best part of this dress is the back.  I love the detailing.  I paired the dress with a more edgy looking belt to help neutralize the girly, borderline juvenile look of the dress.  My Brother In Law's girlfriend put it well, "That dress is business in the front, party in the back!"
